Hi All,


Went out with my buddy Adam for a few hours on Lac Seul this afternoon.

All fish were caught on plain jigs with a minnow bait, most were on the sand bars in 5-16 FOW.

We saw a few other boats out there...and most agreed when we chatted at the landing that the day was slow. We still got a few fish over 20 inches and our limit of 17-18 inchers for the table, a load of small pike, i even got into a 19 inch bass for good measure.

i expected more as we have done really well there before...but i aint complaining...honest

Lovely to see you back out in the boat Simon, what temperatures are you seeing there now? Some nice sized fish on light looking gear. In light of recent discussions it is good to see someone else wearing a PFD!
