Posting pictures on a forum is often daunting and confusing. Here is what I believe to be a straight forward guide. I have opted to use Photobucket as it is a lot better than Servimg.
First off you need to register with Photobucket (
www.photobucket.com ). This is a simple enough operation requiring few details. Once you have registered you will be given the option to enjoy the benefits of some carefully selected offers, I choose not to and skip. This then brings you to screen 1.
From here you need to open the folder that contains your pictures, to do this you need to click the "Choose files" button.
This will open the folder where you have your pictures. You have to double click the "Pictures" button shown.
Now select your album by double clicking it. Next double click the picture you want to upload.
This will start the uploading process. You will go back to the first page of Photobucket and where you clicked "Choose files" will be a process indicator showing you how much is done!
Once it has reached 100% it will open a new page asking you if you want to add a title and other information. This is entirely up to you. Once you've finished adding info, if you so desire click the "Return to album" button.
You will now be back to this page where your uploaded picture is showing.
If you put your cursor over the picture it will pop up a small menu. You need the IMG code.
Once you have copied the IMG code you simply paste it onto your post. There is no need to use the ad image part on the forum as it will put [IMG] around your picture.
This may appear daunting but in actual fact it is fairly simple. I have repeated some of the screens so it looks a lot more in depth. Also, once you become a bit handy with Photobucket you can modify the menu so that you can speed up the process.
