Hi all, Winter is knocking at the door now...HARD! We did not get much of an Autumn here this year as it went from 25 degrees to minus temps within one week at the end of September. WEDNESDAY 27th MAY ON BEAVER LAKE Hi all, got out to a little lake 10 minutes from town with Lew. This Lake holds some awesome walleye, my last fish out of there was a 28" last October. We hit the lake around 3pm and right off the bat lew was into a little pike, then I got one, then we were catching non stop for 3 hours, we had 4 dozen minnows and left the lake with only 6 in the bucket.....and we only caught 2 walleye an hour before we left, we must have got at least 30 pike ...

Hi all, Grabbed 1/2 an hour in front of the house yesterday evening.............. Not much has been out there this year, but fishing is fishing for me...love it....and being a bit busier now (and for the rest of my life...lol) its convenient, if not very productive when the ice is here. I'm kinda hoping that this year with the early melt we had, the lack of snow on the ice etc....that it will be as good as the 1st year we were here 2 years ago, the fish had definitely come in to spawn ...

Hi all, Well between all the diaper changing, crying (luckily i dont have to feed....my breasts aren't big enough apparently) and staring at our baby for hours....i headed out for a couplke of hours on Eagle lake....the snowmobile is up the creek at the moment so its an easy access point, close to home. Lac Seul Multi Species Report

Hi All, Yesterday i was treated to an eagerly anticipated trip out to Lac Seul by invite of Benbeattie and his buddy Graham . I have fished here a few times on open water and its awesome for all sorts of fish. The first spot we hit was a narrows in around 25 FOW....buckshots and plain jigs were the tackle....with plain jigs...especially glow winning out in the end. No sooner than setting up my set line went...lookd like a good pull....but never connected. Then the perch kept us busy ...
