Hello all
Bet you are thinking not another safety post, but this one again highlights the importance of safe kayaking. Last weekend the Mumbles Lifeboat went to the aid of a kayaker without any PFD, wetsuit or communications. I have attached the link below.
The use of a correct PFD, drysuit/wetsuit or VHF communications is so important whilst afloat. I am pleased to confirm this guy is recovering well in hospital.

It is important to remind people the dangers of any sea craft. Whether it be a dinghy, a kayak or a boat, there is plenty of scope for disaster and if not properly equipped, anyone could become a statistic very easily.
